As a Senior Business Analyst at CMC Markets, you'll be at the heart of innovation, working on platforms and systems that genuinely make financial trading accessible to people around the world.

This role puts you in a position to make a real impact. You'll lead workshops with stakeholders across the business, translate complex technical challenges into clear solutions, and guide product development from concept through to launch. Your work will directly influence how our trading platforms evolve, ensuring they meet both business objectives and customer needs in an industry that never stands still.

Working alongside global teams, you'll set standards for business analysis across the ANZ Programme Office, collaborate with your UK counterparts to maintain consistency, and mentor others in best practice

What you’ll be working on

Your days will be varied and engaging. You'll facilitate workshops to gather requirements, working with stakeholders from across the business, operations, customer service, legal, compliance, and technology teams. You'll translate what you learn into clear documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria that development teams can work from confidently.

You'll analyse complex business and technical processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements that move the business forward strategically.

You'll support the UX/UI design process, creating wireframes and contributing to the design of digital experiences that our customers will use.

Quality assurance and knowledge sharing will be part of your remit too. You'll create comprehensive documentation that helps both developers build the right solutions and end users understand how to make the most of new features and systems.

What will help you be successful?

  • 8+ year’s experience in a  Business Analyst role.
  • Able to distil and present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effective facilitation of collaboration between business and technical stakeholders, internal and external. Strong analytical thinking.
  • Able to create high-quality documentation using business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience in agile delivery teams, setting clear user stories for developers to compete.
  • Experience with work management tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Miro, Figma.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • You must hold full working rights in Australia to be eligible for this role.
