Role Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end distribution planning and service delivery for the entire Chemical and Non-Chemical portfolio across all domestic business divisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance key service metrics, including OTIF (On-Time In-Full), product availability, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Conduct weekly service review meetings with Operations and Procurement teams to identify, resolve, and track system, inventory, and logistics-related challenges impacting MTS (Make-to-Stock) SKUs.
  • Lead quarterly inventory norm reviews and corrections in line with organizational guidelines, perform root cause analysis for variances, and implement corrective actions to improve planning accuracy.
  • Plan and execute network and inventory norm changes arising from monthly S&OP decisions, promotional pack transitions, new product developments (NPDs), and other business requirements.
  • Manage network and norm revisions related to plant shutdowns, manufacturing location changes, capacity shifts, and inventory build-up plans communicated by Operations.
  • Serve as the custodian of distribution planning SOPs, ensuring process governance, compliance, and adherence across planning and review mechanisms.
  • Analyze SLOB (Slow-Moving and Obsolete) inventory, collaborate with stakeholders to identify redistribution, liquidation, or rework opportunities, and ensure timely execution of agreed actions.
  • Develop and execute inventory build-up strategies to support seasonal demand requirements, while optimizing network configurations and inventory norms.
  • Actively participate in S&OP and inventory review forums, translating agreed business plans into effective distribution and inventory execution strategies.

Experience / Education / Training

  • 3+ years of experience in Distribution Planning, preferably managing both Chemical and Non-Chemical B2B product portfolios.
  • Strong expertise in distribution planning, inventory optimization, network planning, and supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience in S&OP processes, inventory management, service level improvement, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP and supply chain planning systems, with the ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
