ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne is recruiting a Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic progressive allied health team. This is a fantastic opportunity to come join our supportive team. The caseload is mixed with orthopaedic, oncology and general medical patients across Rehabilitation and Acute wards.

In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as a Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist in our Allied Health department at our East Melbourne campus.

This role will be part time, working 68 hours per fortnight (including some weekends) and will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the occupational therapy team across the rehab and acute setting.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with senior clinicians to support you.

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Occupational Therapist, you are a master at assessing and treating inpatient's and preparing them for a safe discharge home.

Your skills will include:

  • Having over 24 months post graduate experience, relevant to orthopaedic or rehabilitation specialty.

  • Flexible working ability to work across various settings and completing individual assessments and individual and group interventions

  • Be committed to providing an innovative high quality service to clients.

  • Have the ability to identify clinical risk and implement strategies to minimise risk.

  • Be a team player, problem solver and be forward thinking.

  • Have values consistent with those of St Vincent’s Private Hospital.
