Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Business Success Senior Manager to join the team in either Englewood, CO or Plano, TX

This role is at the heart of one of Boeing's most innovative and rapidly expanding sectors. As a strategic technology partner, you will bridge the gap between Boeing Global Services' (BGS) Digital Aviation business and Information Technology (IT), ensuring that we align our priorities and develop a robust strategy to achieve our most critical business objectives. Reporting directly to the Boeing Digital Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will lead a team of business success leaders who are dedicated to understanding the business strategy and harnessing IT service offerings to drive impactful results.

In this position, your ability to collaborate closely with the business will be key. You will dive deep into understanding challenges and initiatives, representing the business at the highest levels within IT. Your role will involve engaging the right resources, exploring innovative alternatives, and swiftly deploying effective solutions with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicates the progress to leadership and to business or function stakeholders

  • Oversees the identification of risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function senior leadership to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments

  • Drives operational and process excellence and innovative behavior by empowering others, collaborating, taking appropriate risks, making timely decisions, and holding people accountable for results

  • Holds accountability for the dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of the business

  • Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees and mid-level managers

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, business strategy, or related roles

  • 5+ years of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • 5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams

  • Experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management

  • Experience with IT service offerings and business process management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in IT and business strategy roles, with a significant portion in leadership positions

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution

  • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies

  • Experience with financial acumen to manage budgets and funding

  • Experience with program/project management

  • Experience in stakeholder management and negotiation

  • Experience in the digital aviation business processes and challenges

  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies

Summary pay range: $186,150 – $251,850
