We are currently hiring a Marketing Coordinator, Strategic Ventures based in our Head Office in Burnaby.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 Remote / 2 On Site). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
As the Marketing Coordinator, Strategic Ventures at BCAA, you will support marketing and communications efforts for Evolve, BCAA’s innovative E-Bike and E-Scooter Share program. Operating alongside Evo Car Share, Evolve promotes sustainable and active transportation across Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Whistler.
In this role, you’ll assist in executing 360-marketing plans, coordinating events, and developing branded content for various channels. Your creativity, organizational skills, and ability to think strategically will be instrumental in driving customer engagement and building brand awareness. What you’ll do:
Support the execution of 360-marketing plans, implementing B2C and B2B marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Coordinate the development of branded content, such as social media posts, videos, web assets, and digital media materials, ensuring alignment with Evolve’s brand voice and tone.
Assist in the preparation and submission of communication documents, including gathering information, drafting, and editing content.
Plan and execute community engagement and events, including compiling an annual events calendar, managing logistics, and serving as a Brand Ambassador at events.
Liaise with external agencies, community partners, and internal teams to support sponsorship activations, PR strategies, and marketing campaigns.
Maintain the marketing calendar, monitor campaign schedules, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Track and organize marketing collateral, merchandise inventory, and event materials, ensuring timely availability for campaigns and events.
Manage administrative tasks, including tracking marketing budgets, reconciling invoices, and preparing post-event and campaign reports.
Analyze KPIs and campaign performance data, providing insights to optimize marketing strategies and tactics.
What you bring:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within consumer-focused industries.
Proficiency in marketing tools, with basic graphic design skills or familiarity with software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Proven experience in content creation and an understanding of brand voice and tone.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
A valid BC Driver’s License and the ability to travel throughout the province as required.
Bonus Skills and Experience:
Experience in PR/communications or with a PR agency.
Familiarity with micromobility trends and a personal interest in biking or scooting.

The salary range for this position is $54,957.00 to $68,696.16 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
