What you’ll be doing

Simplii Financial is searching for a Senior Manager to champion social-first strategies, forge creator partnerships, and create content that gets our audience talking, driving real connections and DMs.

Simplii Financial is digital-only – so social isn’t just important, it’s essential. You’ll build strategies that put social at the center, work with creators who move culture, and make a real impact for a brand that lives online. Hybrid work, digital-first brand, even bigger opportunity.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.  You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed

  • Lead Social-First Strategy: You’ll champion social as the front door for Simplii Financial. That means crafting campaigns that start on social, not just get repurposed for it. You’ll collaborate with PR, marketing, sponsorships, and internal teams to make sure every initiative feels native to the platforms people use every day.
  • Creator Partnerships That Matter: You get that creators are the new media companies. You’ll identify, build, and nurture relationships with creators who can authentically tell the Simplii story, whether it’s a TikTok trend or an Instagram educational series. You’ll help Simplii show up in conversations that matter to digital-first consumers.
  • Trendspotting & Platform Innovation: You’re obsessed with what’s next. You know how to spot emerging trends, jump on new features, and make sure Simplii is in the conversation while it’s happening—not after. You’ll experiment, learn, and scale what works for a brand that’s always online.
  • Team Builder & Mentor: You’ll lead a crew of social and creator experts, setting KPIs that matter for social (not just overall marketing). You’ll foster a culture where creativity, speed, and relevance win every time.
  • Relationship Connector: You are a bridge builder, confident at connecting internal teams and creators to make sure every campaign is cohesive, social-first, and audience-centric.
  • Campaign Delivery: You’ll lead the process from idea to execution, ensuring every campaign feels like it was built for social, not just adapted to it. You’ll push for relevance, authenticity, and measurable impact for a digital-only audience.

Who you are

  • Social-First Mindset: You understand how culture, conversation, and community drive real business results—especially for digital brands.
  • Experienced Operator: 8+ years in social/digital marketing, with 5+ years leading social and digital content strategies. You’ve worked with agencies, built creator programs, and launched campaigns that get people talking.
  • Platform Native: You live and breathe social. You know what works on TikTok vs. Threads and you’re always first to try new features.
  • Audience Obsessed: You create for people, not just for metrics. You listen, engage, and build real relationships online.
  • Results-Driven Leader: You measure what matters, iterate fast, and celebrate impact.
  • Culture Builder: You lead with empathy, authenticity, and a focus on team success.
