What You Will Do:

  • Support all customer service functions

  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, returns, credits, debits, and non-conformances.

  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding the availability of in-stock items.

  • Obtain accurate information relating to shipment dates and the expected date of delivery.

  • Answer inquiries from customers, providing basic sales order information and status.

  • Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures.

  • Communicate professionally & effectively with customers when delivering both good and bad information. This would include both verbal and written communications.

  • Identify and quote the appropriate sales solution to meet the customer requirements.

  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure sales quotes are accurate and on time.

  • Communicate customer feedback for customer experience information and future product development.

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside in Houston, TX, or surrounding areas

  • Work week and shift: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM

  • Compensation package offered: Competitive hourly rate and eligibility for a quarterly bonus

  • New hire training provided

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility in some form of inside sales, shipping or customer service role or a bachelor’s degree in place of working experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong development skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to solve problems with little supervision

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Immigration sponsorship is not offered for this role

Physical Demands:

  • The role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

  • Minimal lifting up to 10lbs, collating/filing, standing, walking, and writing. use of

  • Occasional dialing.

  • Constant use of a keyboard, viewing computer monitors, sitting, seeing, hearing, and speaking.
