Associate Creative – Art
We are seeking a talented Associate Creative Director – Art – with a proven track record of great creative work to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading in the development of creative efforts supporting client work that ranges from consumer to B2B, and everywhere in between. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll contribute to multiple projects while working under the direction of more senior creatives.
We are looking for someone who understands the power of a big idea, the nuance of a great tactic, and the difference between the two. Someone who can execute against PR, marketing, advertising, digital social, and everything in-between. You’ll work across all types of media, as well as no media (that’s the PR thing).
About the job:
• Lead development of creative concepts and deliver creative ideas across all platforms for briefs and new business pitches
• Establish art direction, style, and tone of digital concepts and/or communications
• Ensure materials are clear, concise and persuasive to help bring the program strategy to life
• Work closely with the design and copywriting teams, internal account teams and external clients to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development
• Manage production processes and archiving for projects
• Help communicate creative ideas in presentations to clients
• Understand the concept behind creative work and how it achieves client and business goals
• Stay on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources (e.g., research bodies, academics, industry gurus)
You have:
• fluency in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and other relevant Adobe programs
• an extensive portfolio of great creative work across a wide range of media types - please submit your book with your application
• technical skills that span both art direction and design
• ideas. And more ideas, even when your first ideas didn’t go anywhere. And then even more ideas when the ideas that came after your first ideas didn’t go anywhere
• the ability to think strategically and activate creatively
• the social skills to work well with others, the patience to collaborate, the positive attitude that developing great work commands
• the dexterity to juggle multiple projects at once
• the talent to do all of this with a smile and, occasionally, some well-timed sarcasm
• a ‘first to show up and last to leave’ work ethic
