About this role
We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager comfortable in a highly technical role that requires a solid understanding of how software products are developed and deployed at an enterprise scale. The Principal TPM will lead software engineering projects in our core Product teams to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. They will gather and refine requirements, identify risks, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders. The ability to dive into data, systems, and processes, and strategize with executive, finance and product teams is a key success factor. Demonstrated comfortability explaining the team's analyses and recommendations to executives along with discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.


What you will do
Discovery & Definition (Product Roadmap):
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders, product, and SMEs on the definition & discovery of initiatives on the strategic business roadmap.
•    Perform feasibility analysis working with the SMEs and engineering leads to determine the technical feasibility of proposed product features.
•    Partner with the Product team, actively contributing to the definition of a focused product roadmap in alignment with overarching strategic objectives considering technology roadmap and feasibility.
•    Engage with the Architecture team and engineering leads, leading the shaping of the technical design and solution.
Planning:
•    Partner with the product team in definition of the features and collaborate with the engineering leads and feature TPM's to set clear completion criteria for each of those features in a given iteration.
•    Collaborate with engineering leads and product team to align on priorities and make informed decisions about feature sequencing, considering technical feasibility, product roadmap and resource requirements.
•    Collaborate with engineering leads to estimate the effort required to implement each feature, considering factors such as development time, complexity, and potential risks.
Workflow:
•    Assist the feature teams in definition of user stories and acceptance criteria. Ensure that user stories are traceable back to the overarching product roadmap and strategic objectives.
•    Provide guidance and support to feature teams during execution. Assist with resolving challenges or obstacles that may arise during execution and provide ongoing support.
•    Regular check-ins, monitor progress and status updates to identify any emerging issues or challenges early on.
•    Proactively address any roadblocks or impediments that are hindering the progress of the feature teams.
•    Monitor progress and provide timely updates to Senior Leadership and stakeholders, fostering transparency and informed decision-making.
•    Resolve issues by promptly addressing and escalating issues as needed to maintain program momentum.
•    Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement where lessons learned from each iteration are applied to future planning and execution.
 

What you will bring
•    10+ years of Technical Program Management in a Product focused environment.
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
•    Strong preference for 8+ years in a software development engineering role 
•    Preferably education or experience in Product Management and Healthcare

Prescryptive is committed to fair pay practices. The projected annual salary for this position is $148k to $205k.   When preparing an offer, we consider the candidates resume, experience, interview feedback, internal equity, and location.
