US Sport is on the rise across Australia and with this, ESPN is growing! We are on the hunt for our next Senior Account Manager who is ready to join a passionate and high performing team of sports enthusiasts. Reporting into our Commercial Director, this newly created role will manage a key client portfolio in Sports Betting.

What does our ideal candidate look like? You are an experienced Account Manager with an in-depth knowledge of and interest in Sports Betting. The successful relationships that you have been able to form at a senior level, both directly with your clients and with the media buying agencies, reflect your ability to form and maintain key partnerships. Previous experience in the ideation and integration of engaging solutions for your clients will enable you to demonstrate your creative mindset. You respond quickly, but with thoughtfulness, are diligent in your attention to the finer details, and have a genuine passion for what you do.

Your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

• Act as the point-person for sales strategy, ad product ideation and packaging for select ESPN and Disney Advertising assets

• Lead a key category nationally by developing, executing and managing a vertical strategy

• Achieve and exceed sales targets

• Knowledge of clients’ expectations, strategy and challenges in order to provide them with the most relevant media solution

• Act as a trusted adviser to clients and agencies, maintaining relationships and keeping them informed of new advertising opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in TV and/or Digital Media sales experience with an understanding of the Australian media landscape and knowledge of the Sports Betting landscape

• Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to pitch presentations and engage audiences

• The ability to form authentic and lasting relationships based on trust and mutuality 

• A tenacious, proactive approach to servicing your clients   

• The gift of the gab combined with an authentic interest in people

• A love for selling solutions  – as much as we do!

• A team player approach to the game in an environment that embraces innovation and creative thinking
