Development Lead Digital (m/f/d)

GSK Germany will deliver a significant step up in effective, cross-functional omnichannel customer engagement. The Development Lead (DL) Digital seeks to equip learning managers and sales leaders with compelling training & development concepts in line with GSK digital strategy. The DL Digital reports into the Head of Leadership & Capability Development (L&CD) and co-owns the digital transformation with senior management.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Translating Omnichannel Selling Strategy/Tactics into capability concepts​

  • Accelerate & pull-thru on successful digital change journey for sales reps/leaders across the German organization​
  • Define digital capability agenda for different roles at GSK​
  • Integrate digital aspects into existing selling concepts​
  • Support creation of appealing training materials, including presentations, and online modules effective in driving digital change (communication / AI-data-based analytics & decision making)​. Together with Governance Manager ensure training materials comply with industry regulations, and are up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.​
  • Tailor communication / training strategies on digital transformation to different GSK roles, channels and personas​

 2. Informing German Omnichannel Selling & Tech Strategy​

  • Inspire & infuse use of (disruptive) digital technology use within GSK​
  • Challenge the status quo while driving execution of plan​
  • Represent Germany in European Omnichannel Capability Boards​
  • Influence senior tech stakeholders in tech to drive technology provision at GSK​

3. Conduct engaging train-the-trainer sessions for trainers within L&CD team, both in-person and virtually​

  • Equip training managers to deliver relevant trainings with digital content​
  • Support Team Lead Trainers in supervision & development of trainers​

4. Monitoring and Evaluating Training Effectiveness ​

  • Assess & drive effectiveness of digital capability agenda through feedback & business performance metrics​
  • Apply management cycle for continuous improvement: adjusting ways of working & training materials where needed to maximise effectiveness​
  • Interact with senior stakeholders in business to ensure pull-thru via line leadership​, aligned with Leadership Trainers

5. Enhancing digital / agile communication & ways of working within L&CD and with business partners

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Track record in digital transformation
  • Digital citizen with background in strongly data-driven industries
  • Enthusiastic about digital technology incl. AI; abiding by the ethical, legal and social norms​
  • Ability to translate digital strategy into tangible learning milestones for non-native sales force and their leaders​
  • Strong understanding of data-driven concepts in sales, in omnichannel selling principles and techniques​
  • Experienced in change management
  • Skilled in providing hight quality feedback 
  • Excellent communication incl. proficiency in German (min. C1 level) and English (word/written)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Accountability for impact - Driving execution & challenging the status quo​
  • Eye-level interaction with senior management ​
  • Strong interpersonal skills, incl. lateral/ matrix leadership, strong cross-functional communicator​
