In this position as Program Manager IV, you will play a vital leadership role in supporting and serving as the operational and strategic right hand to the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) President. You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Value Based Operations department, working diligently to ensure efficiency and alignment with goal initiatives. You will plan, develop and maintain various systems and procedures while serving as a liaison between your department and outside communities. This position offers an excellent way to utilize your multitasking, financial, critical-thinking and forward-thinking skills to support a dedicated and innovative team of fellow caregivers.
A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a remote position with occasional meetings in person.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities.
Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside the community.
Facilitate implementation of staff wellness initiatives
Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
Participate in process improvement activities.
Serve as the operational and strategic right hand to the ACO President.
Ensure alignment, execution, and follow-through on enterprise priorities across departments and stakeholders.
Lead and coordinate enterprise-wide ACO initiatives (e.g., performance optimization, contract deliverables, quality improvement efforts).
Translate strategic goals into actionable workplans and track progress.
Facilitate communication across markets, institutes, and shared service teams.
Facilitate and/or prepare executive briefings, board materials, and performance reports.
Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in ACO operations.
Managing quality measures, blood sugar control, breast cancer screenings, etc.
Support management of ACO network of participants and contracted preferred post-acute networks (skilled nursing and home health)
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field and six years of related experience OR Master’s Degree and five years of related experience
Demonstrated team, leadership, presentational, financial management and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research, and business plan development
Medicare knowledge
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master’s degree
Healthcare experience
Accountable care organization (ACO) experience – managing performance of an ACO
Experience with Medicaid programs and ability to apply knowledge to Medicare Advantage plans
Experience managing an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) at a large health system or working directly with health insurance companies
