As a Market Trainer, you bring learning to life in the field. You deliver hands-on training, reinforce best practices, and coach teams to execute with excellence. You’re the bridge between capability strategy and frontline performance - ensuring every RTM and Merchandizer is confident, capable, and ready to win in the markets.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Facilitate company training initiatives, ensuring all sessions are delivered in a high-quality, engaging, and consistent manner
  • Champion and leverage Mondelēz Training and Capability Programs to drive employee development and performance; bridge gaps in capability levels across the Market
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Mondelēz Capabilities processes, training programs, and learning resources; support the development of a high-performing culture across the Market
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality training to newly hired employees in a timely manner; track and report training effectiveness and performance results to the Region Capabilities Lead
  • Collaborate with the Region Capabilities Lead and Market Analyst to implement on-the-job training aligned with market priorities and business goals
  • Conduct field-based coaching in selling skills, merchandising excellence, and order writing to reinforce learning and drive execution
  • Identify skill gaps and tailor training approaches to meet individual and team needs and support the rollout of new tools, processes, and capability initiatives
  • Own the Cadence: Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and growth in the market
  • Train the Trainer: Work closely with the RTMs to ensure New Hire onboarding processes are followed to ensure appropriate support during the learning period

Key Competencies:

  • Engaging Facilitator – Delivers training with energy, clarity, and relevance, ensuring the market capability calendar is robust and aligns with sales execution programs and standards
  • Execution Coach – Reinforces retail standards and helps teams apply learning on the job via retail tools and applications
  • Empathetic Mentor – Builds trust and motivates learners across experience levels
  • Detail-Oriented – Tracks training progress and ensures consistency, compliance, and accountability via a learning management system
  • Field Connector – Understands local market dynamics and tailors training accordingly to meet market specific customer needs and policy

Requirements Include:

  • Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • 3+ years in training, field leadership, or retail operations
  • Travel within dedicated market is 40-60% (up to 3 days in field/week)
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills
  • Experience in retail or consumer goods preferred
  • Ability to travel across assigned markets

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $85,400 to $117,425; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.

Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
