Supply Planner

Description -

What a Supply Planner does at HP:

  • Inventory Management: Analyze and manage pen inventory levels to meet business requirements and goals.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock service levels and ensure optimal inventory to avoid overstock or stockouts.
  • Order Fulfilment: Coordinate and manage Host pen supplies order fulfilment processes.
  • Order Fulfilment: Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders.
  • Import/Export Operations: Handle import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements on Host pen supplies.
  • Import/Export Operations: Manage shipping processes and coordinate with ISO and logistics teams.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Compile key performance metrics and produce regular reports to show Host pen availability.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data for demand and supply matching to support HW POR.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct backlog management analysis.
  • Pen Supply Planning: Develop and implement optimized Host supplies plans to support HW business needs.
  • Pen Supply Planning: Collaborate with ISO and factory Ops teams to review and improve business processes.
  • Performance Review: Regularly review performance HOI metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Performance Review: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other functional teams such as ISO, logistics, supply planning, fulfilment, factory operations, and finance to ensure alignment and coordination.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, 0-1 years in a supply chain function.
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes including planning, sourcing, making, and delivering.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and produce meaningful insights.
  • Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, BI, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of project management methodology.
  • Developing business acumen and technical knowledge within the area of responsibility.
  • Basic understanding of system support on S4 (SAP).
  • Basic understanding of import/export regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory analysis.
