About the Role

We are seeking a high-achieving, detail-oriented intern with a passion for data management and optimization. This role will focus on converting Tableau Prep Flows into raw SQL scripts and building user-defined tables within a Databricks environment. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments and demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate existing Tableau Prep workflows into efficient, maintainable SQL queries.
  • Design and implement user-defined tables in Databricks, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Optimize data pipelines for speed, accuracy, and resource efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to validate outputs and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Document processes and provide clear technical specifications for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
  • Exposure to Databricks, Spark, or similar big data platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau Prep or other ETL tools preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
