Job Overview:
The Ecommerce Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' ecommerce
operations, managing trading activities, overseeing digital marketing campaign execution, and supporting on strategic ecommerce advisory projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce, digital marketing, and project management, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Website Trading:
● Manage and optimise daily trading activities on our clients ecommerce websites to
maximise sales and conversion rates.
● Monitor website performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement
changes to enhance user experience and sales.
● Manage client product catalogue and content updates
● Work closely with our agency and distribution teams to ensure seamless execution of
online promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Ecommerce Reporting:
● Generate and analyse ecommerce reports, including sales performance, traffic analysis,
and conversion rates.
● Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive decision-making and
strategy adjustments.
● Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular reports to clients and
internal stakeholders.
● Produce weekly and monthly updates for our clients, summarising results, insights and
actions.
Digital Marketing Campaign Management:
● Develop clear, comprehensive briefs for digital marketing campaigns, outlining
objectives, target audience, budget, timelines, and key deliverables.
● Collaborate with internal teams (creative, media, analytics) to ensure all campaign
materials and assets are accurately created and aligned with the brief.
● Manage timelines and work closely with the broader team to ensure campaigns are
delivered on time.
● Analyse campaign performance, optimise strategies, and manage budgets to ensure
effective ROI.
Project Management:
● Create, manage, and update Asana boards to ensure all ecommerce and digital
marketing tasks are well-organised and on track.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress.
● Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope by maintaining clear communication and proactive management.
● Take notes in meetings, capture key decisions, action items, and deadlines to highlight
critical takeaways and next steps, ensuring clarity and accountability.
Ecommerce Advisory Support:
● Assist in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and trend identification to
inform ecommerce strategy.
● Collect and organise data for use in client presentations and strategic planning.
● Support the development of ecommerce advisory projects by completing audits,
preparing detailed presentations and reports.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field.
● Proven experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related role.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
● Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing tools
(e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords), and project management software (e.g., Asana).
● Excellent organisational and project management skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working in a consulting environment.
● Familiarity with international ecommerce markets.
● Certification / proficiency in Google Analytics.
● Experience with Shopify or similar platforms
