The role leverages the proximity to operational controlling activities across other GCO areas to create a strong FP&A talent bench for Business Units, while ensuring consistent planning, forecasting, and performance steering standards. Acting as a speaking partner to Corporate FP&A, the role supports both corporate and business‑specific FP&A needs through Controlling Capability Centers and serves as the interface between Business, CP&O Practice, and CCC delivery.

Build and steer FP&A delivery capabilities within Controlling Capability Centers, ensure cross‑capability collaboration with other CP&O GCO areas to enable end‑to‑end performance insights. Develop robust back‑up and rotation structures to support flexibility and resilience in a GCC environment.
Define KPIs to measure Business Unit FP&A service effectiveness and value creation, ensure compliance with finance governance, internal controls, and policies.
Business Unit FP&A complements Corporate FP&A by providing business‑specific, capability‑based FP&A services through the Controlling Capability Centers, while Corporate FP&A retains ownership of Hitachi Energy-wide planning and analysis.
