Responsibilities:

• Design and calculation of air springs and their components, and their effect in the vehicle, in close collaboration with the design team, application engineers, the customer and suppliers.

• Continuous comparison of test and simulation results through close

  cooperation with test engineers.

• Consideration of simulation and development results from economic perspectives such as material usage and manufacturability.

• Consideration and further development of methods, standards and processes.

• Supporting the integration of digitalization solutions

• Leading innovation projects

• Presenting development and calculation results to customers and suppliers and providing consulting services

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (Master, Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering or similar)
• >3 years related work experience preferable (automotive, mass production products)
• FEM software (primarily Abaqus, secondarily MSC.Marc/Mentat, Moldflow), Python scripting, CAD software (primarily CATIA, secondarily Siemens NX or others)
• Experience with automation and AI tools
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Communicative, solution-oriented, responsible, entrepreneurial attitude
