Job Summary:

This position plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing data-driven marketing strategies across multiple digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of performance media, analytics, and optimization tools, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for delivering results and maximizing ROI. They will be seen as the performance media subject matter expert on the marketing team.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Develop and implement data-driven media strategies that align with the organization’s goals and target audience.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing tactics across various digital performance media channels (Search, PMAX, Affiliate, Display) in order to drive both online and in-store conversions (traffic, sales, etc.).
  • Partner with the Channel Marketing, Integrated Media and Digital Commerce teams to ensure cohesive strategy across the entire consumer journey & development of full funnel performance reporting.
  • Lead agency partners in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that drive a high incremental return.
  • Instill a performance marketing mindset, by setting clear KPIs and managing a reporting process alongside agency partners to effectively measure eComm and store revenue attribution.
  • Own the product feed strategy used across performance marketing initiatives, partnering with internal teams and agencies to ensure feed health, structure, regional pricing accuracy, and optimization aligned to business and channel needs.
  • Oversee Wayfair advertising campaigns, providing strategic direction, reviewing high‑level performance, and ensuring alignment to business objectives. Evaluate opportunities for scalability and potential expansion across other retailer media platforms (e.g., Costco, Amazon) as the retail media ecosystem evolves.
  • Manage and grow relationships with media partners, vendors, and platforms, making recommendations for continuous marketing technology enhancements.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in the performance media space. Share knowledge and insights with the team and the organization.

SCOPE & IMPACT: 

This position is a key role in the media department, responsible for developing and executing media strategies that deliver business objectives and growth for the organization. They work across various media channels and collaborate with other teams and stakeholders within the organization and are responsible for managing agency partnerships. They will manage a combined media budget of over $10 million annually, and reports on the media performance and impact to marketing leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with 4-6 years of experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience in performance media, specializing in paid search/shopping. Google Ads experience is a must.
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft 360 Suite
  • Travel Required: up to 10%

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Proven ability to generate ROI-based performance results.
  • Advanced expertise in identifying profitable growth opportunities through audience segmentation and creative testing.
  • Skilled at building compelling presentations and conveying complex ideas and results across teams and to leadership.
  • Experience supporting retail, franchise, or multi‑location business models is a plus, with an understanding of how regional dynamics impact media performance and measurement.
  • Background with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics preferred
