This position assists with patient treatment and care under direction and supervision of licensed therapist for physical/occupational/speech therapy.  Prepares patients for therapy treatment sessions and performs tasks that consist of billing, inventory and maintaining the department in an orderly condition.

*Assists in the delivery of patient treatments and care in an organized, professional and efficient manner.
*Provides restorative care to residents, including, but not limited to; range of motion, ambulation, positioning, splinting, assisted feeding, and other care.
*Accurately documents care in the medical record. Assists with maintaining therapy documentation in the medical record according to facility procedures.
*Performs job duties in compliance with organizational and therapy department policies, protocols and procedures.
*Maintains inventory of therapy supplies, matches orders received with invoices to ensure proper billing.
*Assists with computer data entry and other administrative duties to assist the therapy department in day to day operations.
*Responds to a changing workload in a positive and professional manner. These responses include, but may not be limited to: 

  • Remaining calm.
  • Making objective assessments.
  • Prioritizing
  • Asking for assistance

 *Participates in projects within the department, the facility and the community to enhance rehabilitation services.

Qualifications:

  • Current Montana CNA certification required.
  • Current HCP CPR certification required.
  • Post high school education or vocational training in healthcare preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting with experience in a rehabilitation setting or nursing service preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and willing to work with handicapped adults in a rehabilitation/hospital setting.
  • Must work effectively with a diverse patient, family and coworker population.
  • Possess ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with patients and co-workers

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule Rotation:

Tues, Thurs, Friday, Sat (9 hour shifts) - 3 weeks

Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri (9 hour shifts) - 1 week

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
