THE JOB
Live Nation Concerts is seeking a Staffing Manager for its destination events. We produce intimate and exclusive experiences where everyone is a VIP and no detail is overlooked.
The Staffing Manager will work closely with the Staffing & Admin Operations Manager to oversee all staffing operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff for various events. This role involves both pre-event preparations and on-site management to guarantee smooth execution and optimal staff performance.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to continually prioritize deadlines while balancing multiple projects. The person in this role will possess the skills and ability to lead and initiate new processes. The candidate will also demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Advance Work:
· Serve as the primary contact for all staff-related inquiries and communications.
· Gain a thorough understanding of all event details, staffing procedures, and company policies.
· Implement and update staffing procedures, including compliance with weekly and hourly pay rates and advance pay tracking.
· Send offer letters to confirmed staff, clearly outlining new pay policies and requirements.
· Coordinate finalized staff schedules with lodging and transportation departments.
· Source and interview candidates, responding to potential staff inquiries promptly.
· Ensure completion of all necessary paperwork for each employee.
· Assist in submitting accurate event-coded payments.
· Organize staff meals in collaboration with the resort, gathering departmental needs and developing a distribution plan.
· Continuously update the master staff contact list and operations manual.
· Contribute to the development of staff activity schedules.
· Participate in weekly management team calls as needed.
· Oversee the department budget and assist with staffing settlements.
On-Site Responsibilities:
· Schedule and coordinate on-site staff training and orientation.
· Manage staff check-in, including the distribution and tracking of uniforms and credentials.
· Oversee staff meal distribution and settlement.
· Organize and communicate staff-wide activities.
· Submit and approve payroll reports with the payroll vendor to ensure timely payment of employees.
· Complete a detailed post-event recap for the department.
· Coordinate additional staff payments, including reimbursements or stipends as needed per event.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
· 2 - 3 years of in-event project management roles, ideally experience as a Staffing Manager or similar role.
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience.
· Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel), and time-tracking software.
· Proven experience in staffing or human resources management.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in payroll processing and compliance.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
