Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will resolve incidents and problems across various business system components, ensuring operational stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with vendors, implementing Requests for Change, and updating knowledge base articles to enhance troubleshooting effectiveness. You will work closely with service management teams to analyze and resolve issues, contributing to a seamless operational flow and supporting the overall efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure including maintenance, code upgrades, and scheduled monitoring
Being part of this team, you ll have the opportunity to design and develop scalable, maintainable, highly available solutions that meet our high service standards and business objectives
maintaining and acting on a roadmap to provide continuous improvement in the DNS and DHCP areas
Execute change requests submitted by the Customer
Technical Responsibilities:
Should have 5 to 6 years Experience with physical and virtual DDI architecture and device administration
Experience with Infoblox DDI, NetMRI, and IPAM Solutions
Experience in Infoblox Migration and upgrade
Proficiency in DDI technologies DNS, and DHCP
Experience with DNS & DHCP infrastructure
Understanding F5 GTM, BIND.
Experience with packet capturing and protocol analysis.
Proficiency in Linux management and scripting.
Experience in Infoblox NetMRI (optional)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate training sessions for junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Expert level knowledge of DDI solutions preferable Infoblox with extensive experience of usage in large complex enterprises.
- Proven experience with Infoblox Grid and DDI solutions NIOS and BloxOne.
- Strong CLI and GUI skills for Infoblox products. o Preferably Threat Defense and/or Advance DNS Protection.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and security practices and principles, particularly in relation to DNS and DHCP.
- Clear understanding of infrastructure layers or stack, and a broad knowledge across multiple platforms such as server, operating system, virtualization, or network.
- Able to deploy and manage DDI platforms on private Cloud, Azure, AWS and / or VMware vSphere environments.
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures, Network Security Implementation, Network Security Operations, Enterprise Network Operations.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based network solutions.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures.
- Experience in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center Networking Technologies Operations.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
