JOB DESCRIPTION:

OBJECTIVES

  • Assist in preparation of monthly production and rate & retention reports including supporting variance analysis

  • Contribute to the monthly financial analysis pack for management review

  • Support the Annual Plan process, including set-up of premium, acquisition, and expense templates

  • Run the monthly forecast process, including projections for premiums, losses, acquisition costs and expenses

  • Assist in development of performance metrics and participate in management meetings by highlighting key business drivers

  • Participate in projects and initiatives as required

  • Provide ad hoc variance analytics and insights to support decision making

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current bachelor’s degree student or recent graduate with a history of strong academic performance.

  • Pursuing CPA designation

  • Proven track record in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical, organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to conceptualize details and develop action plans for problem solving and decision making.

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment with limited supervision.

  • Personal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualities

  • Experience with Microsoft products, with advanced excel skills (VBA/Macro skills are an asset)

For this position, the hourly rate is $25 to $28 and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and certifications.
