Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Provides overall direction by developing asset protection strategies and business objectives. Analyzes objectives. Develops, communicates, builds support for, and implements business strategies, plans, and practices. Assesses the asset protection implications of various strategies. Provides guidance to business leaders on issues related to asset protection, including workplace safety, compliance, and security. Determines and supports resource requirements. Evaluates operational processes. Measures outcomes to ensure desired results. Identifies and capitalizes on improvement opportunities. Promotes an associate- and customer-centric environment. Demonstrates adaptability. Directs the consistent execution of the company's asset protection practices, systems, and personnel-related activities by auditing asset protection practices. Analyzes and interprets reports. Creates action plans to resolve instances of non-compliance. Conducts on-site observations and Investigations. Develops and delivers process training programs to management. Provides asset protection advice and counsel for managers and business partners. Manages overall asset protection financial performance for an assigned network by analyzing key financial indicators . Uses financial analysis to create and evaluate strategic options and opportunities (for example, security initiatives, accident costs, centralized processes, equipment changes). Communicates opportunities and impacts to cross-functional partners and leadership. Makes strategic decisions to improve financial results. Understands the difference between expenses and investments. Directs compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures by keeping current on laws and regulations related to general safety and compliance practices, as well as permitted regulations. Implements and monitors workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Implements action plans to improve performance and reduce instances of non-compliance. Oversees the management of fire safety programs and fire prevention systems. Directs management teams in ensuring the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records. Achieves network-level safety and shrink reduction goals by implementing, prioritizing, and driving asset protection strategies, initiatives, and trainings (for example, safety, inventory management, theft prevention, security, criminal deterrence, investigations). Analyzes data to determine trends in order to identify and develop strategies to address asset protection concerns (for example, material handling injuries, internal theft). Ensures the effective and timely execution from site and network asset protection teams. Analyzes and monitors inventory management processes, including those associated with high value merchandise. Develops, analyzes, and systematically integrates gathered information for the network. Identifies shrink risks. Analyzes and monitors inventory management programs. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps. Recruits, selects, and develops talent. Supports mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning. Sponsors continuous learning. Leverages the capabilities of new and existing talent. Ensures facilities in the network are prepared for crises by building and sustaining trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances with government and non-governmental agencies. Identifies and ensures resources and trainings are available to address asset protection gaps. Informs managers of various potential crisis situations and the appropriate ways to respond, including advising managers on detailed emergency procedures and contingency plans. Identifies and determines vulnerabilities and risks (for example, the need for event management (security plans for product launches, external threats). Collaborates with senior leadership and other networks to communicate enterprise concerns and impacting events. Directs the development of asset protection plans for key events. Develops and leverages internal partnerships (for example, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Maintenance) and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives. Engages key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, production/operations management, or related area and 4 years’ experience in asset protection, global security, auditing, program management, or related area. Option 2: 6 years’ experience in asset protection, environmental health and safety, auditing, program management, or related area.

3 years’ supervisory experience.
