Jet Fuel Operations & Inventory Analyst

About the Role
As part of World Fuel’s Aviation Operations team in Mexico, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable, efficient, and compliant jet fuel supply for our customers across major airports in the country. This position blends operational coordination, data analysis, regulatory reporting, and direct interaction with suppliers and internal partners.

What You’ll Do
Regulatory Reporting & Data Management
- Track, reconcile, and manage volumetric data for Jet Fuel, Diesel, and Gasoline in accordance with Mexican regulatory requirements.
- Perform manual data entries, volume reconciliations, and generate all reports requested by government authorities.
- Ensure full accuracy and compliance at all times.
Jet Fuel Forecasting & Supply Coordination
- Develop jet fuel demand forecasts for WFS customers at multiple airports.
- Submit nominations to fuel suppliers and monitor the full supply chain from order to delivery.
- Track inventory levels at airport fuel farms and ensure product availability for all customer flights.
Inventory Management
- Validate delivered quantities at airport terminals and provide documentation to the Accounting team for payment processing.
- Maintain inventory levels in line with customer needs and stay within ASA storage allocation policies.
- Support monthly reconciliations and collaborate with the Costing team on discrepancies.
Compliance & Operational Support
- Ensure compliance with Mexico’s compulsory stock obligations where applicable.
- Manage contracts related to jet fuel storage at airports.
- Support continuous improvement and standardization of operational processes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or a related field involving database management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- High attention to detail and comfort with data-driven work.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply, Accounting, Costing, Operations).
- Excellent organization, follow-through, and communication skills.
- Experience in aviation, fuel, logistics, or regulated industries is a plus (but not mandatory).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
