About the Role

This is an exclusive opportunity to advance into a specialised role supporting and growing our reseller sales channels across the North Island. Reporting to the NAPA Reseller Sales Manager, you will be the primary technical and customer service expert for specialist sectors including Commercial & Industrial, Automotive Electrical, Wholesale, and Tools & Equipment.

While this is a NAPA role, you will also be responsible for supporting and developing the reseller business for both NAPA and Sulco brands, ensuring our customers receive consistent, high-quality service and product expertise across both businesses.

The role is planned to commence in 2026. The role involves extensive travel within the North Island, varying with your base location, so a strong willingness and ability to travel frequently is essential. We’re seeking experienced individuals who understand company culture, thrive in a customer-focused environment, and are committed to delivering Genuine NAPA Service.

Duties Include

  • Lead and nurture specialist customer relationships to drive growth and deliver technical expertise for both NAPA and Sulco businesses
  • Conduct regular, purposeful customer visits across the North Island territory with a focus on new business opportunities
  • Achieve sales and profit targets while managing customer accounts and loyalty programs for both brands
  • Collaborate with branch teams and sales reps to maintain high standards of NAPA Know How and customer service across both businesses
  • Engage actively in technical training and maintain excellent company vehicle standards
  • Follow all health & safety policies and company procedures.
     

Who We're Looking For

  • Experienced professionals with a proven track record in sales, customer relationship management, or technical roles
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive/auto-electrical aftermarket and reseller specialist channels
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the North Island and managing a broad geographic territory
  • Mature, responsible, and committed to continuous learning and delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Full driver’s license and physical ability to handle product lifting and travel requirements
