About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Soft Services Facility Coordinator to join our team in Mauritius. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate all soft facility services including cleaning, waste management, landscaping, and other non-technical facility operations to ensure a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for all building occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise soft services contractors including cleaning, waste management, pest control, and landscaping
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure service quality and compliance with standards
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for soft services
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to service level agreements
  • Handle tenant/occupant requests and complaints related to soft services
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and track key performance indicators
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost control for soft services operations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Coordinate special cleaning projects and event support services
  • Prepare regular reports on service performance and improvement initiative

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities management or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning methodologies, waste management practices, and soft services operations
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French language skills advantageous)
  • Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
