Working under the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs, actively contributes to implementing the University’s digital learning strategy. Supports the analysis, organization and positioning of digital education projects. Plays a key role in identifying market development opportunities, documenting delivery models and analyzing the feasibility of initiatives proposed by faculties. Works closely with program administrators throughout products’ life cycle, ensuring operational consistency, strategic alignment and institutional relevance. Helps to establish common frameworks, tools and processes that assist in the development and promotion of the digital services offered, in support of academic goals and target audiences’ needs. Serves as a catalyst in implementing the digital learning strategy by ensuring that projects align with market needs, academic priorities and viable business models.
Specific accountabilities
Knowledge, experience and skills
• University degree in administration, marketing, economics, innovation or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least five years’ relevant experience in market development, feasibility analysis or project organization in a post-secondary institution or related setting
• Proven experience in market analysis and economic modelling, including using industry, demographic and behavioural data to inform strategic decisions
• Expertise in strategic monitoring tools and techniques, including analysis of academic demand, employment trends and competitive positioning
• Ability to interpret performance indicators and develop financial forecasts as well as impact scenarios for digital projects
• Strong knowledge of Agile program development approaches
• Knowledge of partnership models for program development
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects involving academic, technological, marketing and administrative teams
• Ability to translate market analyses and trends into practical recommendations on developing digital educational products
• Strong ability to explain complex analyses in a clear, engaging, accessible way for diverse audiences (leadership, faculties, external partners)
• Strategic instinct, analytical rigour, innovative mindset and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Initiative, ability to work independently and ability to multitask
• Bilingualism — English and French (spoken and written)
