Introduction to the job

The occupational health supervisor (In-house nurse) provides occupational health services to employees, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act and promoting a safe and healthy workplace. This role focuses on preventive health care, emergency response, and health risk management within industrial settings.

Role and responsibilities

Health Management & Compliance

• Implement health management in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act , related enforcement rules ,and customer demands.
• Conduct pre-employment physical examinations and  health checks for employees, as mandated by law.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality.

Workplace Health Services

• Provide first aid and emergency care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Monitor working conditions and support ergonomic assessments to prevent occupational diseases.
• Create, arrange ,and deliver programs covering various health and safety subjects to educate employees and cultivate a safety workplace.

Risk Assessment & Prevention

• Collaborate with EHS teams to identify health risks related to chemical exposure, noise, and workload-induced illnesses.
• Support programs for workload-triggered illness prevention and pregnant/nursing employee health management.
• Deliver health education sessions on topics such as disease prevention, stress management, and maternal health protection.

Education and experience

• Registered Nurse license in Korea is required.
• More than 3 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an in‑house corporate setting handling office administrative tasks, preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act and workplace safety standards.
• Strong communication and counseling skills, initiative, independence, and teamwork
• Ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
• Good written and spoken English

Other information

• Driver’s license preferred.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
