As a Bank Reconciliation Junior Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring cash transactions are recorded and reconciled accurately—supporting compliance, transparency, and continuous improvement. What you will do
- Book daily bank statements accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of cash accounts, ensuring timely resolution of open items within defined close timelines.
- Investigate and resolve unclear or unidentified bank transactions, minimizing unreconciled balances.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational queries and escalations from the team and stakeholders, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries within required deadlines.
- Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and control.
- Provide training, guidance, and day-to-day support to new joiners and team members to ensure consistent ways of working.
- Participate actively in daily huddles, weekly team meetings, and backup coverage to maintain continuity of operations.
What you will need
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in bank reconciliations and cash management.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal control concepts.
Preferred
- Experience working in a multinational organization or shared service center environment.
- Familiarity with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
