READING TECH CENTERJob Description
Ready to fuel the success of Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) globally renowned brands like Gillette, Venus, Pampers, Head & Shoulders and Oral-B? Do you want to be part of the innovation and technological advancement of products used every day by millions of the world’s consumers? Want to work for a company consistently recognised as one of the UK’s leading graduate employers?
Then apply for an Engineering Degree Apprenticeship in our Blades & Razors Process & Engineering (P&E) department and directly contribute to brands Venus & Gillette.
We are the bridge between Design and Manufacture and a group who always looks for opportunities - whether that's in researching and testing a new technology; improving a piece of equipment's efficiency; or even making a process more sustainable to help reach the company's 2030 and 2040 Sustainability Goals. We believe that there is always an opportunity to grow and develop.
As part of our team, you will be given responsibility to collaborate with vendors to design, develop and deliver equipment to our global partners, scaling initial concepts into our world-renowned products. All whilst being supported by highly experienced Technical Coaches and a Career Mentor.
If you have a passion for winning, strong leadership credentials and an interest in pursuing an Engineering career at P&G, this is the opportunity for you!
We offer a 4-year Engineering Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6) in our UK P&E Plastic Systems Engineering Group. Providing the opportunity to earn a competitive salary whilst achieving a full Bachelor of Engineering Degree and Apprenticeship Certificate from a top UK Engineering University. Gain hands on experience and build your professional Network while you study.
Successful applicants will be based at our Reading Innovation centre and will travel to university for block-release study (approx. 8 x 1-week trips per annum). University Study will be a blend of face-to-face and distance learning with Degree fees and University travel expenses paid by P&G.
Alongside your university studies you will receive a customised learning plan tailored to the specific Engineering work we do in the P&E Plastics Engineering Group. You will also work on live Engineering projects, experience global business travel if/where required and put your studies into practice.
