We are looking for a talented Senior Copywriter who needs to use words as weapons, overcome the psychological defenses of target audiences, and provide integrated and creative solutions with art utilizing precise insight and logical thinking, guaranteeing the success of the Clients’ marketing campaign. At the same time, senior copywriters should work with senior art directors to act as the main force of project execution, supervise team members, control human resources expenditures and time costs, and create work up to the Ogilvy standard. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Client Management 

  • Communicate with account colleagues and Clients to better understand Client needs, and provide efficient creative solutions. 

 Strategy 

  • Maintain a good working relationship with planners, and contribute creative ideas in developing communication strategies. 

 Creative Leadership 

  • Responsible for the projects undertaken with senior art directors. 
  • Has the ability to accurately understand creative briefings, and work with designers creatively in keeping with communication strategies. 
  • Responsible for the textual content of all productions based on the creative plan determined by the team.  
  • Write a creative concept that makes it easier for clients to understand our solutions with vivid and insightful text, making it easier to accept it. 
  • Familiar with the project processes, collaborate perfectly with both internal and external teams, and promote the smooth progress of the work. 
  • As a “senior student”, help designers become familiar with the qualities of commercial art and enhance their creative thinking and abilities. 
  • Maintain a strong intellectual curiosity, learn about emerging media and technology, and keep our ideas up to date. 
  • Responsible for creative and effective recognition at local and international awards competitions and new/existing business growth.

  • Be inspiring, encouraging and friendly to others, and always work hard to make positive progress.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' working experience as a Copywriter in an advertising agency 
  • Be adept at not just above-the-line copywriting and art direction but also below-the-line work. They should have a firm grasp of digital assets and social experience. 
  • Generate (through the line, integrated) ideas and move them forward 
  • Excellent writing & speaking skills in both Vietnamese and English 
  • Good communication and presentation skills 
  • Be self-motivated and hardworking, able to work independently both effectively and efficiently, as well as teamwork with partners 
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to add further ideas and value to projects 
  • Honest, energetic, empathetic and passionate 
  • Open to new experiences 
  • A portfolio is required for this position.
