As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, confirming that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.  

 

 

What You’ll Do 

As a Systems Engineer, youll be designing, integrating, and optimizing complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, youll identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.  

 

Role Responsibilities:  

  • Write portions of the system engineering specification pertaining to field of technical expertise 

  • Work on system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design utilizing expertise in technical area of specialty 

  • Perform tests and provide feedback to product engineering and software on new designs and ongoing engineering improvements 

  • Identify and troubleshoot engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability. 

  • Work with System Integration during the assembly and final testing of all products 

  • Assure that all new designs of hardware and software meet market requirement specifications and are reliable, safe, user friendly and maintainable by the field 

  • Review all external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture ideas, and ensure they are up to date and documented 

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Graduating with a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or a related field. 

  • Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Previous internship or related field experience 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience 

  • Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions  

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information  

  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus  

  • Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
