The focus areas include customer, stores and associates, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science and search & personalisation.
What you'll do:
Architect, design, build and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale.
Work with Walmart Tech council - Group of architects and bring in the best practices to the team.
Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluations.
Providing technical mentorship & coaching engineers.
Bring in best practices across Operational excellence for successful production system.
Exhibit strong technical leadership and communication skills to collaborate with business, product, engineering & management across U.S.
What you'll bring:
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
Hands on experience in Microservices, RESTful webservices development in Java (SpringBoot).
In depth knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Microservice Architecture and related stacks (Service Registry, ELK / Splunk, Microservices, VMs, etc. ) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc. )
Should be able to communicate complex technical solutions and ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
Strong hands on development skills to prototype technical solutions.
Work exposure on agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins
Exposure to Javascript, Angular, ReactJS , NodeJS / Python (Nice to have)
Preferred Qualifications
B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science
10+ years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications and platform development.
