The Director, Conduct plays a critical leadership role in embedding a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical behaviour across Institutional Banking & Markets. This role leads the development and implementation of conduct risk frameworks, supports governance, and ensures alignment with regulatory expectations across the jurisdictions where IB&M operates.
Key responsibilities for this role includes:
Contribute to the execution of the Group’s Conduct Risk Framework within IB&M.
Partner with senior leaders to embed conduct principles into business practices, decision-making, and customer outcomes.
Oversee conduct risk assessments, breach reporting, and thematic reviews.
Provide expert input on regulatory matters including obligations and expectations of regulators including ASIC.
Contribute to IB&M & Group engagement with regulators, industry bodies, and external stakeholders on conduct matters.
Contribute to internal governance forums focused on conduct and reputational risk.
Develop and deliver conduct-related training and awareness programs.
Monitor and report conduct metrics to the governance forums at IB&M & Group level.
Lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and ethical leadership.

Proven experience in risk, compliance, legal, or governance roles within financial services.
Deep understanding of conduct risk, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at executive levels.
Demonstrated leadership in driving cultural change and ethical decision-making.
Experience managing complex issues with reputational impact.
Exposure to markets and commodities, with an understanding of product-focused strategies will be highly regarded.
