Position Summary
In this role as Senior Manager – HCB FP&A Business, you will report to the Lead Director of HCB FP&A. You will lead a team of two and will be responsible for consolidating, reporting and the creation of management presentations, talking points and analytics for forecasts and operating plan and for HCB with a focus on the Commercial and Specialty Line of business. This candidate will lead the technical day-to-day processes to support the forecast and operating plan reviews and analysis. This is a highly visible role that provides senior management with the information they need to make critical business decisions. This role will work closely with Aetna business finance leads to ensure that the reporting of forecasts/budget is accurate and that the appropriate level of information is provided to senior leadership. A successful candidate would be highly motivated, have superior technical & financial modeling skills to support creative problem solving, and strong critical thinking abilities.
In addition, this role owns the Multi‑Year Strategic Forecast and Goodwill models and the monthly Risks and Opportunities process for the Aetna business. This role will maintain and update these models, analyze results, develop clear financial insights, and help shape the narrative and outlook to communicate to senior leadership.
We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of financial/corporate budgeting, forecasting, consolidating results and reporting. This is a highly visible role that provides senior management with the information they need to make critical business decisions, requiring both communication and technical skills. This role requires the ability to “think beyond the spreadsheet” to develop custom analyses, message positioning/narratives and business recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
