Job Description

EIG Electrical Systems is seeking a Field Office Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience. The Field Office Coordinator will be ultimately responsible for day-to-day office support including project financials, subcontracts, change management, safety, timecards and E-time, and other general document control. They will work closely with the project team to manage multiple projects, produce quality work, and consistently meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Project set up and document control.

  • Review owner contracts to understand deadlines and requirements.

  • Manage and oversee the lifecycle of Subcontracts.

  • Job specific accounting functions, change orders, and project close out.

  • Act as the point of contact for facilitating essential communication and job specific forms.

  • Facilitate safety documents and information.

  • Prioritize organizational needs regarding meetings, deadlines, and timeframes.

  • Follow up on projects/tasks to ensure action items are completed.

  • Create and analyze financial reports.

  • Assist in change management.

  • Assist in cost management.

  • Process timecards and E-time.

  • General office and job site support as necessary.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years as an Administrative Assistant or Coordinator within the Construction industry.  

  • Electrical Commercial Construction experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of the construction project life cycle.

  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

  • Team player with the ability to remain flexible with day to day tasks.

  • Ability to think critically and prioritize work tasks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of Bluebeam and CmiC a plus.
