Agropur is looking for a Shipping Supervisor for our Quebec City plant for the overnight shift.

What you will take ownership of on a daily basis:

The Overnight Shift Shipping Supervisor plans, directs, and controls distribution center activities to ensure the delivery of dairy products to distributor agents and various distribution centers, supported by a stable and timely product supply.

• Manages the activities of the staff under their supervision to optimize efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the achievement of quantitative and qualitative objectives outlined in the operations action plan;

• Oversees operations to ensure efficiency through the analysis of established performance indicators;

• Controls goods receiving, inventory and stock management, physical inventory adjustments, cooler waste, product expiry, FIFO, etc.;

• Analyzes and resolves work-related issues or assists employees in resolving problems encountered on the job;

• Applies and enforces company processes and methods related to health and safety, as well as the provisions of the collective agreement;

• Encourages and fosters a positive work environment, notably by continuously seeking to improve employee engagement and teamwork.

The profile that can truly own the role:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role (unionized team);

• General knowledge of logistics and transportation (a strong asset);

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;

• Available to work the overnight shift: Monday to Friday, from 12am. to 8am
