Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.
Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a Transportation Analyst based in Singapore. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, you will analyzes and develop transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.
What You Will Do:
Analyzing transportation plans and identifying opportunities for improvements to meet client needs.
Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs, carrier performance and lead times.
Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and providing solutions to reduce lead times.

Additional Info:
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
