Job Responsibilities

• Firmware design for optical module products such as QSFP-DD, OSFP, CFP etc.
• Firmware design for optical components such as TROSA, MZ, LASER etc.
• Firmware design for EVB and develop GUI for firmware debugging and lab testing.
• RMA for field issue.
• To support firmware verification test.
• Documentation and maintenance of firmware source code, version control and upgrade.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor or Master in but not limited to: Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication, etc.
• 5+ years’ firmware development experience in related industry
• Skill requirement (soft skills and technical skills)
• Professional with C, C++ language for MCU or embedded system development.
• Professional with 1~2 firmware development platform such as Keil, IAR, Crossworks,Serger etc.
• Familiar with Python, VB6 for GUI development.
• Familiar with UART, I2C, SPI, USB, MDIO interface development.
• Familiar with CFP, QSFP, OSFP protocol
• Familiar with optical active module or passive module development
• Familiar with structure of coherent and pam4 module
• Good English skills to read product spec, IC datasheet, and write technical document.
• Effective communication and cooperation skills with a team.
• Understand Optical-Electronic product performance spec.
