Department Overview

Digital evidence can be one of the most valuable tools when investigating and prosecuting cases. However, the extreme volume, variety and velocity of data has made digital evidence management more complex than ever. It’s time to revolutionize digital evidence management.

The Evidence Software department in Motorola Solutions is the leading provider of Digital Asset and Evidence Management Solutions.
The team is responsible for end-to-end software development including design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance. We work in a well-balanced scrum team with a full range of software development experience and local Product Owner. We embrace the DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery approach.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Senior JavaScript Engineer (TS, Angular), a Problem Solver, to join our department and develop with us an DEMS Software Platform used for gathering and managing digital assets for police and judicial users.

The team is working on the following technology stack:

Angular 17, TypeScript, Cloud: Azure, Repo: Git Hub, DB: Cosmos, CI/CD: ADO /GitHub Actions, Tests: Playwright

Basic Requirements

• An experienced and hands-on JavaScript and Angular programmer.

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Angular

• Practical experience with modern CSS frameworks

• Understanding of JavaScript packaging & deployment processes

• Practical experience in the development and maintenance of moderate-sized software systems

• Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision

• A great team player

• Good verbal and written English communication.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with hosting and developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure) 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields.
