IT Infrastructure Support

IT infrastructure support jobs involve designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure. Some responsibilities of an IT infrastructure support job include: 

  • Provide high end service to Executive leadership, in both hardware and software technical issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving system issues, responding to outages, and monitoring backups 
  • Maintenance: Operating and maintaining LAN/WAN/VPN/Wired & Wireless infrastructure 
  • Project management: Assisting with project management for IT initiatives 
  • Security: Assisting with maintenance of IT alerting and monitoring systems, and corporate network event and security logs 
  • Customer support: Answering calls from customers and helping them with IT-related issues 
  • Training: Providing training or arranging for vendor training for system users 
  • Recommendations: Developing cost estimates and making recommendations for systems development and upgrades 
  • Risk reduction: Advising senior management by identifying critical security issues and recommending risk-reduction solutions 

Education, experience, and skills:

The ideal candidate will be experienced with customer facing analytical, disciplined, and creative problem solver committed to delivering a quality product and be able to demonstrate:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of related experience; or Master's Degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to respond to critical IT tickets with Executive Leadership
  • Accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to learn software and explain it to others.

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.

Salary Ranges

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.  In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.  The talent advisor can share more details about total compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.
