Job Title: Engineer, Product Engineering (Prod Dev)

Location: Philippines

About the Role:

As an Engineer in Product Engineering for Product Development within our Automotive division, you’ll play a hands-on role in new product introductions (NPI), yield/cost improvement, characterization, and manufacturing readiness for innovative automotive semiconductor products. You’ll work closely with design, test, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, high-quality product launches and sustained production performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including test and characterization of new automotive products.
  • Analyze production and qualification data to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for yield or quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, test, manufacturing, applications) to resolve issues and enhance product manufacturability and reliability.
  • Assist with defining test limits, validating test coverage, and monitoring product performance through the production lifecycle.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for yield, quality, or customer issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain awareness of automotive standards and ensure compliance in product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements and cost reduction initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in product engineering, test engineering, or related field (automotive or semiconductor industry preferred).
  • Knowledge of semiconductor test methodologies, product characterization, and data analysis tools (JMP, ADMAP, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards (e.g., AEC-Q100, ISO 26262) is a plus.
