Job Description: 

The TD Quality and Reliability radiation effects team is responsible for quantifying the susceptibility of our technologies to ionizing radiation and for working with our technology and product partners to enable reliable and competitive products. Our work involves design of specialized test chips, frequent radiation test campaigns to collect and analyze radiation effects data, modeling of radiation effects to interpret collected data, and interacting with customers and our technology development partners on radiation effects related topics. As a member of this team, you will help develop state of the art radiation effects test and assessment methods.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must be pursuing a Master or PhD degree Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related discipline. 1+ years experience with ionizing radiation effects (testing campaigns and analysis or modeling). 6+ months experience with semiconductor device physics and/or characterization. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in VLSI circuit design, including digital simulation Experience with electrical measurement equipment in characterization of semiconductor devices. Understanding of reliability failure statistics, physics, or failure mechanisms. Experience programming with formal language (C,C++, C#, etc.) and scripting language (JSL, PERL, Python, SQL, TCL, VBScript, etc.) Prior Intel Intern or Scholarship recipient. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
