About the Role

Ontra is seeking a Solutions Consultant, reporting to our Manager, Solutions Consulting, to join our growing Customer Success team.

The role is a great opportunity for a mid-level corporate associate who’s looking to pivot into legal tech.  We’re seeking someone who is excited to design tailored solutions, address customer pain points, ensure seamless client engagement, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outstanding results.

What You’ll Do

  • Customer Engagement: Facilitate customer consultations and account calls, collaborating with Customer Success Managers and implementation team leads to understand and address client needs effectively.
  • Playbook Optimization: Lead efforts to enhance and optimize playbooks for Contract Automation and Accord.
  • Parameter Sheet Drafting: Draft and maintain parameter sheets to support NDA negotiations.
  • AI Quality Control: Ensure the efficient and accurate implementation of credit agreements.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Utilize your expertise to provide topic, process, or technology insight and strategic guidance necessary to ensure project accuracy and organizational success.
  • Training & Education: Conduct training sessions and educational workshops for internal teams to ensure comprehensive knowledge of Ontra’s product suite and solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation that supports the clarity and efficiency of solution delivery and customer understanding.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, Legal Intelligence, Implementation, and other teams to continuously improve solution design and customer outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of transactional legal experience as an attorney or paralegal, specifically in corporate, M&A, or funds.
  • Education: 4-year degree is required; JD is preferred.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; experience working with highly sophisticated clients in a customer-facing role
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated enthusiasm and comfort in using technology to address and solve business problems.
  • Industry knowledge: Experience or familiarity with the private funds industry, including exposure to credit agreements, is a plus.
  • Timezone Flexibility: Ability to work in EST to effectively manage the customer base in the US and EMEA, with some flexibility.

Pay Transparency

Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below.

Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission, variable compensation, profits interest units, or other equity-based compensation, which are not included in the below base pay range.
