We are a leading biopharma company dedicated to developing transformative medicines for patients.  We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our dynamic and innovative Portfolio Technology & Delivery (PTD) team.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting key business programs within the Medicines Development and Supply (MDS) organization.  This position offers an excellent opportunity to coordinate and support vital business activities while expanding your knowledge of biopharma product development.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Assist the Portfolio Capability and Resource Management team to coordinate and facilitate project deliverables for key business programs.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, track decisions, action items, and risks.
  • Following up on action items to ensure completion through collaboration with SMEs
  • Track detailed deliverables and provide outlook on future deliverables
  • Maintain & support development of detailed dashboards to support visibility into program timelines, deliverables and risk profiles
  • Assist with the collation of MDS data and dashboards, including MDS annual objectives and business priorities, budgets, benchmarking
  • Collate and track relevant departmental and MDS performance metrics
  • Support other core business activities as required

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • BS (minimum), in Business such as Project Management, Change Management, or, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science or related scientific discipline.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical and project management experience.
  • Experience in project management for strategic or operational business projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Skills.
  • Understanding of Change Management principles and delivery
  • Experience with budgeting and resource management.
  • Ability to influence, motivate and gain commitment without direct authority.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving multiple clients, sometimes globally.
  • Experience with program delivery processes, systems and tools typically used in industry.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, teamwork, networking, presentation, and planning skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for effectively interfacing with all levels of management and departments within the company and external.
  • Flexibility to accommodate program priorities and international activities as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills in order to maintain a high level of productivity and set priorities to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify and solve problems with high initiative, strong drive and follow-through.
