Job Description Summary:

We a re looking for a Verification Lead to join the Patient QA team. We are developing software solutions for our customers to ensure safe and accurate radio therapy treatment delivery for each individual patient. This product is seamlessly integrated into the clinical workflow on various treatment platforms to fulfill best our customer needs.

As part of our engineering team, you will be working closely together with our developers and test automation engineers. You will be responsible for the testing of our software during regular SCRUM sprints and for formal verification testing compliant with medical device development practices with every release. 

We are looking for a candidate with a background in software verification testing in the medical domain and excellent analytical skills that is willing to excel in an international team and help us drive the development of our new products.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Design, specify and execute test cases for new products for patient specific quality assurance of radiotherapy treatments.

  • Monitor and report code quality through exploratory and regression testing alongside development activities during regular sprint cycles

  • Assume full responsibility for the delivery of verification testing documentation compliant with the medical device development regulations

  • Interest in gathering domain knowledge in the areas of radiotherapy quality assurance and medical image processing.

Desired qualification:

  • SW development engineer (B.Sc. level or equivalent)

  • Experience in software verification testing and documentation (5+ years) in a related industry

  • Experience with Python and *NIX environments

  • Experience with Linux, Git, Jenkins

  • Fluency in English language, written and verbal

  • Willingness to be flexible. As part of a small agile team, you may be asked to contribute to areas outside of your specialty.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

The following Qualifications are an asset:

  • Experience in Selenium and web test automation are an asset.

  • NoSQL database experience (e.g. CouchDB)

  • Comfort with heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux)
