You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
 

Position Purpose:

The purpose of this internship is for the intern to gain knowledge and hands on coding experience by being a part of a development team in the Enterprise Content Systems organization as they modernize their applications in the AWS space. They will be part of a team that will design, develop, and test a new application using some of the latest technologies.


The intern will be responsible for following Agile practices and attending all Sprint ceremonies. They will follow software development best practices and learn all aspects of the software development lifecycle from coding, unit testing, integration testing, and participating in code reviews. They will also use GitLab for CI/CD and version control.

Skills:

  • Have experience with Python and Angular.JS
  • Experience with AWS is a plus
  • Have ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Have ability to demonstrate excellent judgment and decision-making skills
  • You are collaborative and not afraid to ask questions

Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
