We opened our R&D Second Home (besides the one in Silicon Valley) in Prague in January 2020 and since then we have experienced unbelievable growth. Our Engineers are solving complex engineering problems (from low-level system software to cloud computing) that help us innovate our cutting-edge products. Besides our world-class Software Engineering teams, we have many other talented colleagues working in Product Management, Sales, Finance, and HR to name a few. What’s more, we’ve developed these teams from talent across the globe.

DTG Product Team

The DTG “Digital Transformation Group” Product Management team is responsible for building out world class infrastructure that powers commerce execution and supercharges analytics for the organization. Our Product Managers focus on defining and driving features and capabilities, as well as being responsible for market and business analysis and product direction. The team works with cross-functional teams of Engineering, CTO office, Partners, Marketing, Sales as well as Executive Staff.  

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Define overall product and feature requirements - future product strategy with sustainable and compelling differentiation based on customer needs, competitive analysis, market and technology trends.
  • Drive overall roadmap, feature tradeoffs, prioritization and requirements for enterprise-class storage array systems.
  • Drive roadmap based on market, technology, business and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, size, and develop a scalable and unique go-to-market models
  • Work closely with engineering counterparts based in Prague to prioritize enhancements and shape a compelling services road map focused on customer outcomes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in the US and around the globe to drive product requirements and 
  • Drive Data Platform Excellence - You will own overall data platform product offering supporting data infrastructure, extraction, ingestion, orchestration, monitoring and community
  • Automate and orchestrate new ways of doing business - You will own orchestration of commerce activities such as integrations with ISV Marketplaces and internal CRMs, automation of manual processes and rule based initiatives.
  • Work closely with the DTG and Pure executive team to establish the scope and goals of the project and provide leadership for the project teams 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 8-10+ years of combined experience in a product management/engineering or related roles
  • Understanding and background in data platform ecosystems to partner with engineering teams in building out our next generation platform
  • Background in commerce execution and understanding of end-to-end sales processes from Quote to Order, Order to Cash, Fulfillment and CX a major plus
  • Experience and a solid understanding of product life cycles, release milestones, from concept inception to product end-of-life
  • Ability to provide clear and timely product requirements and work with engineering to develop differentiated solutions that enable growth of the product
  • Ability to work in a rapid pace, cross geography, environment with multiple and shifting priorities
  • Ability to work with engineering in AGILE methodologies to deliver products
  • Ability to market and evangelize product capabilities to stakeholders to drive use case acquisition and usage of platform services
  • Consistent record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, Master’s Degree or a Business degree a plus

You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
