Welcome to Supply Chain Operations - Milwaukee.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Ensuring products are shipped on time and maintaining happy customers

  • Grow knowledge in a wide range of state-of-the-art technological platforms including SAP.  

  • Engage and share knowledge daily with highly motivated local and global team members.

  • Discover and anchor new processes to make us more efficient and prepared for growth.

  • Schedule domestic and international shipments with outbound carriers to meet customer delivery requirements.  These shipments will include, LTL, TL, Air, Ocean, and UPS. 

  • Monitor and pick customer orders in SAP to ensure on-time delivery.   

  • Coordinate and organize pick lists and shipping documents for warehouse operators.

  • Schedule intercompany transfers and shipments.  

  • Inventory monitoring at external warehouse in collaboration with Customer Service & Planning

  • Lead logistic processes to maintain inventory at external warehouses.

  • Perform inventory movements and adjustments in SAP.   

  • Assist with annual cycle counts (inventory) and material movements in SAP.

  • Understand FG material schedules and flow related to capacity, bottlenecks or constraints.

  • Coordinate customer pick-up schedules at external warehouses.    

  • Coordinate, fulfill and log sample requests in a timely manner.

  • Handle Material Goods receipt paperwork and SAP transactions.

  • Support KPIs related to Shipped on Time, Customer Complaints and others as needed. 

  • Maintain SOPs for all logistics related functions.

  • Highlight problems and inefficiencies and implement problem solving initiatives using SOLEAN problem solving tools when appropriate.

  • Review supplier invoices for accuracy and approve or reject as appropriate.

  • Maintain good working relationships with all key internal customers, including Customer Service, Scheduling, Production, QC, QM, Commercial to promote a positive working climate.

  • Support the Novozymes Environmental Policy and EQS, and attempt to reduce the environmental impact resulting from your daily job duties.

  • Other duties as assigned.  

To succeed you must hold:

  • High School diploma or the equivalent and 1 + years direct experience in a similar position.

  • Experience with SAP R/3 or similar system preferred.

  • Export/ Import work experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the US (HTSUS), Schedule B classification procedures and NAFTA certificates of origin Preferred.

  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced office is essential.  Good judgement and strong interpersonal skills required, in addition to being detail oriented and self-directed.

  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications with internal & external colleagues.

  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.

  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain principles and exposure to lean manufacturing.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in using company-specific software, e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, SAP, Power Point.

Expected Salary Range: $54,000-$70,000 annually
